RarestPick is a small independent daily game about finding a correct answer that other people did not think of. It is built and run by a very small team. There is no account system, no feed, and no push notification — just one set of questions a day and an optional practice mode.
How questions are made
We write the question wording ourselves. Answer lists are assembled from open data, primarily Wikidata, with checks for English labels, alternative names, spelling variants, and whether a normal player could reasonably produce the answer. We do not use another game's question bank, and we do not scrape answer lists from competitors.
Answer lists are checked automatically for size, answerability, alias conflicts, ambiguity, and rarity calibration. A question that fails a check is held back rather than shipped. Players can report missing answers; reports are reviewed against the source data.
Data and attribution
Answer lists: Wikidata (CC0). Popularity signals for the seed estimate: public Wikimedia pageview and link statistics, used only as numbers. We do not copy Wikipedia article prose. Fonts: Fraunces, Inter, and Space Grotesk via Fontsource under the SIL Open Font License. Icons: Lucide (ISC). The magpie illustration and collection-themed artwork are original.
Independence
RarestPick is not affiliated with any other quiz game or television show. Product names mentioned in comparisons belong to their owners.
